My name is Daniel Schardine, a senior engineer at Applied Technical Services. I am a registered professional engineer, however Clever Monkey Engineering is not an engineering firm and does not perform nor offer to perform engineering services.

I am a hands on mechanical engineer. Most of my twenty-two year professional career has been focused on inspection and evaluation of pressure retaining fixed equipment, non-destructive testing, stress analysis, and regulatory compliance. This work also involves in-depth experience with welding, metallurgy, fabrication practices, and quality control.

An engineer’s first obligation is the protection of the public. I take this very seriously and safety is always a top priority. My experience involves expertise in suspended access, working from heights and while suspended, and design and evaluation of suspended access equipment and their structural attachments for loading and regulatory requirements.

This website is meant to show my experience and qualifications. It is a work in progress with new projects and descriptions to be added. I also plan to add some of my personal interests.
